All of my newborn & older baby photoshoots are done in the comfort of your own home. I find this is where baby feels more comfortable and settled and saves Mum having to travel while she is still going through post partum recovery in some cases.
To achieve the best images, I do ask that you prepare a tidy space for me to work in where there is access to natural light and and neutral colour schemes where possible. Usually I find the best location is your bedroom where there is a window close by and white bedding available. I also ask that there are a couple of outfit choices available so we can change up the look of the photos part way through. You are more than welcome to also include any toys/ sentimental items that would like to be featured in the photos.
For the “newborn look” I suggest having your photoshoot take place within the first 2 weeks of baby’s life. However this isn’t always possible during busy periods. If you reach out during your pregnancy I should be able to pencil you in for 2 weeks after your due date and then alter this if your baby arrives later than expected. You will still get some lovely images after the 2 week window so do not worry if your baby arrives early and I am not available soon after. Some people actually prefer photos later on as baby may have established more of a routine by this point and can be more settled because of this.
I usually allow an hour for the shoot. However, you can never guarantee how settled your baby will be on the day and for this reason the shoot may over run past 1 hour to enable me to be able to get some shots.
I am happy to travel for photoshoots where possible. Depending on the location there may be an additional travel fee added onto the cost of the photoshoot.
Images are provided on an online gallery where you cand download images directly. You can also share your gallery link with family and friends if you wish to do so. I do not provide a USB as standard with these photoshoots but they can be provided at an additional cost of £10. Please note, galleries will only be accessible for a maximum of 6 months so please ensure you download your images before this time point and make copies where possible.
You will usually receive your images within 1 week of the photoshoot date. However, during busy seasons this may be around 2 weeks but I will let you know if this is the case.
