A stunning Oxford summer Wedding at the Voco Oxford Thames Hotel, Oxfordshire.
On one of the hottest weekends of August 2022, I had the pleasure of working as an Oxford Wedding Photographer for Kate & James. The couple chose to hold both their ceremony and reception at the gorgeous riverside venue, Voco Oxford Thames. Situated in the historic city of Oxford, in Sandford-on-Thames, this venue is a dream location for any wedding.
This was only my second time this year photographing a wedding at Voco, and it has quickly become one of my favourite Oxford wedding venues. From an Oxford Wedding Photographer’s perspective, its beautiful grounds, riverside views, and convenient location make it an ideal setting for relaxed and elegant wedding photography.
Kate and James both spent the morning getting ready at the hotel, which made the schedule wonderfully stress-free. As their Oxford Wedding Photographer, I was able to move easily between rooms, capturing James with his groomsmen and Kate with her bridesmaids as they prepared for the day.
The ceremony took place on Voco’s stunning grounds, with the river providing the perfect natural backdrop. I would highly recommend this venue to any couple planning an outdoor ceremony in Oxford — it’s a fantastic choice for couples and photographers alike.
