I first met Annabel and Joe at another wedding back in 2021, so it was extra special when Annabel got in touch four years later to ask me to photograph their wedding in July 2026 at the beautiful Winters Tale Country Barn. It’s always lovely to see familiar faces again, and I was so excited to be part of their special day!
A Beautiful Wedding at Winters Tale Country Barn
Nestled in the Buckinghamshire countryside, Winters Tale Country Barn is a beautiful wedding venue, full of charm and character. This was my first time photographing a wedding here, and as a wedding photographer, I was absolutely spoilt for choice when it came to finding gorgeous locations for portraits and natural wedding photographs.
From the stunning countryside surroundings to the lovely hidden corners of the venue, there were so many opportunities to capture beautiful memories throughout the day. I have to say, though, that the secret garden was my favourite spot for wedding photography! It was the perfect setting for capturing some special moments of Annabel and Joe together.
A Dog-Friendly Wedding at Winters Tale Country Barn
One of the loveliest personal touches of Annabel and Joe’s wedding day was including their dog in the celebrations. Wanting him to be part of their ceremony, they gave him the very important job of being their ring bearer!
Of course, he also had to make an appearance in the group photographs. Including their four-legged family member made the day even more personal and memorable, and it was wonderful to capture these special moments as part of their wedding photography at Winters Tale Country Barn.
A Perfect Summer Wedding in Buckinghamshire
Annabel and Joe’s July wedding was a fantastic day, filled with lovely moments, beautiful surroundings and some amazing wedding suppliers. It was a pleasure to photograph their celebrations and capture the memories that they can look back on for years to come.
As a wedding photographer, discovering new venues like Winters Tale Country Barn is always exciting, especially when they offer so many beautiful backdrops for natural, relaxed wedding photographs.
