I first met Nicola & Aidan while photographing another wedding back in 2023, so when Aidan got in touch to ask if I was available to capture their own wedding day, I was absolutely thrilled. As an Oxford wedding photographer, it’s always such a joy to see familiar faces and reconnect with past couples at weddings.
Nicola & Aidan chose the most perfect day for their spring wedding, a beautifully sunny May date. Their ceremony took place at St Mary’s Church in Charlbury, just outside Oxford. This was my first time visiting Charlbury, and it’s such a charming Oxfordshire town. The church itself is stunning and made a wonderful setting for their heartfelt ceremony.
Following the service, we headed over to Cotswolds Hotel & Spa in Chipping Norton for the reception. As an Oxfordshire and Oxford wedding photographer, this venue has become a familiar favourite of mine, so it was lovely to be back capturing another wedding day at this popular Cotswolds venue.
One thing I love about Photographing Weddings at Cotswolds Hotel & Spa is the buggy ride across the golf course to take couple photos! We utilised a lovely spot by the lake for photographs. Nicola chose the most beautiful Wedding dress with gorgeous lace detailing on the top and train of the dress.
